Newly-married Broadway veterans Jarrod Spector and Kelli

Barrett are often asked, ‘What’s it like to be married to a

fellow artist?’” Bringing to life the greatest songs birthed

from the greatest marriages, the two attempt to answer the

question with great songs. Audiences can expect to hear

such classics as Johnny Cash and June Carter's "Going to

Jackson" and Sonny & Cher’s “The Beat Goes On.”

Jarrod’s tenor voice, famous from his role as Frankie Valli in

In this unique concert, the Escher Quartet will perform

Eugene Drucker’s original composition,

Madness and the

Death of Ophelia.

Accompanied by the quartet, Allison

Linker, speaker/singer, plays the roles of both Ophelia and

the Queen in four excerpted scenes from

Hamlet

.

The Escher Quartet has received acclaim for its musical

insight and tonal beauty. The Escher has been championed

by the Emerson Quartet since its inception in 2005 and has

gone on to serve as Artists of The Chamber Music Society of

Lincoln Center. Staller Center for the Arts is proud to

welcome the Escher String Quartet, Eugene Drucker of the

Emerson String Quartet, and Allison Linker for a memorable

evening of music.

Eugene Drucker will join the Escher String Quartet as a

guest violist for an Anton Bruckner string quintet.

The members of the Escher String Quartet are Adam

Barnett-Hart, violin; Aaron Boyd, violin; Pierre Lapointe,

viola; and Brook Speltz, cello. The program will include:
